Description
On our scuba dives, it is always so special to find an octopus. They hide in the smallest of cracks and crevices and are very difficult to spot. They can change the colour and texture of their skin so they are experts in the camouflage game. The black background of this design was inspired by their ink. The octopus is one of our few charcoal drawings. We usually create our art pieces with water colours and markers.
It was the perfect medium to capture all the different textures and contours found on this amazing animal’s body. The black and white Cephalopod Scatter Cushion is graphic and bold and will create interest and fascination in any space.
