Frosted Rose Window Table Runner

When we visited Paris in December 2010 we were mesmerized by the rose windows in the Notre Dame Cathedral. We stood admiring the colours, the shapes and how the light played through the ancient 13th century glass masterpieces. That year Paris experienced one of the coldest winters with accompanying snowstorms and temperatures reaching a shocking -10°C to -20°C. We have never experienced cold like that before. We could only stand to be outside a few hours before escaping indoors, searching for some warmth. We wanted to pay tribute to that amazing experience with this design. The colourful rose windows and refuge of the Cathedral contrasted with the bitter cold and white snow outside inspired this beautiful Frosted Rose Window table runner.

Starlight Orchid Table Runner

In this design we wanted to celebrate the beauty of the orchid. There is such an amazing variety of orchids and each one is special and different than the rest. Here we paired the Gilded Tower orchid and the Naomi’s Delight orchid. These two went beautifully together with their golden petals, spotted details and accents of rust and pink.

Entomon Table Runner

This crisp and bright rhinoceros beetle design is exactly what you need to take you there.
With its warm yellows and contrasting dark details it transports you back to nature. It’s a conversation starter and your friends and family will all do a double take once they see this table runner on your table.

Delicious Rockrose Table Runner

This design was inspired by my mother, Gerrie (Verishca’s grandmother). She spends almost all of her time in her garden. Even at 75 years old, she waters, plants, protects and looks after her garden like no one I know. The chickens keep her young because she has to shoo them away from her rockroses, which apparently is a delicacy in chicken land.
This design features the infamous (and tasty) rockroses and the delicious monster leaves, both found in her garden.

Alta Table Runner

This design was made upon request by my mother, Alta (Ilene’s sister). She has a love for interior design and antiques. She adores the character and history something has when it isn’t brand new. Thus, she asked for a blue design with an dusty background. “No clean or stark whites, please! It has to be warm and inviting”, she said.
All the flowers and leaves in the design were photographed in her garden. We then drew and painted each one, knowing how extremely special it is that we could capture a little part of her.
Good news, the design was eventually mom-approved.

Nektar Table Runner

The hummingbird is such an amazing creature. Every day the hummingbird consumes half of their weight in sugar and nectar. We wanted to portray the hummingbird in search of its next sugary treat, surrounded by flowers and petals.

Midnight Estival Table Runner

Many of our designs are very abstract. We take our original art and distort the pieces to create our typical Lemon Litchi by IV designs. With this design however we went in the opposite direction. Here we wanted to showcase our artwork in their original and pure forms. We chose the dark background to create a contrast and to let you focus on the art, and the art alone.

The Collector Pistachio Table Runner

Bees are some of our favourite insects, especially bumblebees. With their big shiny black eyes, their fluffy little bodies and delicate wings, they are the most adorable insect ever to exist. They were the perfect addition to this pastel green and pistachio design. They brought it to life. The typical story of the bumblebee, surrounded by flowers and plants while collecting pollen inspired the Collector table runner.
